It seems that there are usually some males dress up as female characters, and some girls dress up as boys characters! Do you think it is strange? Or normal?
Some cosers do that because they can't find the same sex characters in anime which suit their cosplay or they like so much! Some cosers like crossplay is just because they want to try some challenges of different and particular characters! Many cosers say that they feel good when they are crossplaying. It is more funny than their original cosplay!

Personally, I like to see some crossplay in cosplay. And actually, there are some crossplay cosplay works are very amazing!! What's more, in my opinion, some handsome boys are prettier than girls' cosplay for the same character! So, what is cosplay? I think it is to cosplay your favorite character, actually itself is wrong, so that means we can dress up as whatever we want!
Of course, when you decide to crossplay, you should know what your limits are! As girl, you would not better try muscular or strong characters, because your body shape doesn't fit them!
