Cosplay in 2012

Now, it's 2012. If the prediction about 2012 is true, what would you want to cosplay in 2012? You know, the last cosplay, you should something outstanding!! My coser friends have many good plan about their cosplay. For example, to try crossplay cosplay, attend at least three conventions, to cosplay some new characters! It hears so nice!!
Currently, I am working on Stocking Angel Form from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, it's my favorite character, his is the big one in my plan. Of course, I have many other plans about my cosplay. Here, I would love to share my cosplay plan in 2012! This is my list!

The eyes color for cosplay

When you cosplay, how do you deal with the color of your eyes? As far as we know, the eyes of characters of anime or comic are usually blue, red or green, so if your eyes' color are black or brown, how do you dress up your eyes? Maybe some people think it doesn't matter whether their eyes color is alike with the character's or not , it is just a small part of cosplay that can be ignored! They can solve the problem by photoshop, very easy, so it is not a problem! They pay more attention to the costume and cosplay wigs, these big parts! What's more, they think to wear colored contacts will hurt their eyes, that is terrible!

Well, for other cosers, they want to make pretty accurate cosplay, they also try their best to make each detail perfect! In their mind, a perfect cosplay must be right for all of its aspects. For dressing up their eyes, they would wear colored contacts! Just admire these cosers, they are so serious to cosplay, they are so cool!
Actually, I don't mind the whether cosers have right eyes colors or not! Because they don't do something wrong, contacts are expensive and not suit everyone! Another way is you just cosplay the characters whose eyes have the same color with you, you can avoid this problem! lol...

The fun of cosplay

When my friend asked me whether cosplay was really fun or not, I replied him without any hesitation" Of course, very great!". And frankly, in my mind, nothing is more fun than cosplay? So, which part does make you happy from cosplay? Make the costume, play it with friends, or others gets your pictures?
For me, as a hobby, cosplay is the best way to spend my free time, I can get fun from any detail of cosplay! From choosing the right character, make costume, wig, or other stuffs, to wear the outfit for acting the character, anything of them is awesome!
Fortunately, I have some great friends who are also interested in cosplay! Hence, we usually stay together to discuss our cosplay and design something fantastic! Even though you can not act well in the character, it doesn't matter. When you dress up yourself like the character you like is an amazing try, just like play a game, no matter you win or loss, the process is important and wonderful!
The feeling of making a nice cosplay is pretty good, especially when you show your cosplay at a convention! There are some people like your performance and cosplay costumes,they smile, ask some questions about your cosplay, and approach you to take pictures, you would be proud of your work!

My friend,Lisa, she is a cute girl and fond of Animal zentai suits cosplay very much, but she tells me that she is going to give up cosplay, her interesting! Her decision shocks me, although she does not tell me the reason, I know why! Because some people awalys give her some bad comments for her cosplay, just because she looks overweight!
She had three terrible experiences at conventions. Actually, her cosplay was really fantastic. She chose the right character and cosplay costumes, and her performance was also outstanding! However, there were some people who stared at her, you know, that was so embarrassing! Their behaviors destroyed her confidence!
So, what is cosplay? In my opinion, it is a way to make fun. People show their love for their favorite anime, comic or characters via cosplay, so there is no any limit for coser. No matter how old you are, no matter who you are, you have right to cosplay! Personally, I think the people who hit others because of their weight or height is very rude and stupid! They should know how to respect others! Therefore, next time, when you see overweight coers, you need to respect her cosplay and give her your smile!

How Do you Think Crossplaying in Cosplay?

It seems that there are usually some males dress up as female characters, and some girls dress up as boys characters! Do you think it is strange? Or normal?
Some cosers do that because they can't find the same sex characters in anime which suit their cosplay or they like so much! Some cosers like crossplay is just because they want to try some challenges of different and particular characters! Many cosers say that they feel good when they are crossplaying. It is more funny than their original cosplay!

Personally, I like to see some crossplay in cosplay. And actually, there are some crossplay cosplay works are very amazing!! What's more, in my opinion, some handsome boys are prettier than girls' cosplay for the same character! So, what is cosplay? I think it is to cosplay your favorite character, actually itself is wrong, so that means we can dress up as whatever we want!
Of course, when you decide to crossplay, you should know what your limits are! As girl, you would not better try muscular or strong characters, because your body shape doesn't fit them! In addition, you should be sure that your body curve is not so sexy..lol..... Now, I want to try one piece cosplay, to cosplay Monkey D Luffy, because he is a little boy!

At some conventions, you can find there are some female cosers who are in bikini or some cosplay costumes which are overly revealing, so how do you think their outfits? Some people blame the cosers wear such outfits for cosplay are strange, bikini and other revealing clothing don't belong to cosplay costumes! So, people think their cosplay is not real cosplay! These girls(lots of girls are even schoolgirls) misunderstand the meaning of cosplay, they don't know what the real dressing up is! What they do just want to get attention from others, to show their bodies, that is stupid!

Well, there are some different voices! Some people think it is normal! At convention, people wear different cosplay costumes to stay together, it is a place to have a fun! So, people should not feel bothered by other special outfits! When others' simply costume bothers you, you can ignore it or try to accept it! What's more, some cosers do that might because they have no enough time and money to make a real cosplay costume, you know, cosplay is a hard work. In addition,for some video games cosplay, there are some special characters, you know, the characters are in revealing, that is okay! You need not like it, but you can't bash it!
Personally, I would never try such clothing in my cosplay, but I don't hate other do that!

What Do you Wear under Zentai?

So, I am just wondering what you wear under your Zentai? Or you just wear nothing in your zentai suits?
Personally, I would wear underwear and briefs, if I will go to see others or some public places; but most of times, when I am alone, I would not wear anything. Because zentai suit is my second skin, and I like the feeling of the suit which covers all of my body parts! Because sometimes, when we wear something underneath, the underwear would influence the zentai feeling!
I guess for most of zentai enthusiasts, they would love to wear nothing under zentai suit! They say the feeling of spandex is at the first place? So, what’s your answer? Whether you wear something under Zentai suit or not? Or depend on the situation!!

What is the Craziest Thing Have you ever Done in Cosplay?

   
Although I am a bit shy girl, when I cosplay, I am a crazy coser, because I am fond of cosplay so much! Lol. Hence, I am interested that what your craziest story in your cosplay!
Oaky, first, Let me share two of my crazy cosplay experiences! That was I was dressed as Tentacool Gijinka, and appeared in streets with my friends(we were high school students at that time). There were so many people stared at us. I still remember at that day, I wore a light yellow cosplay costumes so that I was a highlight in us. However, we didn't mind the reactions. We even danced in the crowded area, no music, no stage, but just free to dance. That was really so crazy, and amazing!!
Another one I have done in my cosplay was I kissed a boy who was another coser, we even didn't know each other. However, for the cosplay show, I had to do that. Actually, it was very embarrassed!
You know, sometimes, we should open our minds, don't care others, but just feel free to do anything you want! So, just frankly to share your craziest cosplay experience. No matter it is wonderful or terrible, at least, it would be the impressed cosplay memory.
