Cosplay is not cheap, this is a frank conclusion from most of cosers. The cosplay costumes, wigs, or the expenses cosers cost for some anime conventions, actually they are not a small amount. What's more, most of cosers are youths, they are highschool students or college students, so it is really hard for them to afford the expenses by themselves. Here, let's discuss how do you make money for your cosplay?
Part time job. This is my experience, and I think this is a common way to deal with expenses for studens cosers! Most of parents don't oppose their children like cosplay. However, at the same time, there is just a few of parents are willing to give them money to afford cosplay things. Therefore, if you like cosplay, if you want to cosplay, you need to earn extra money!! Obviously, Part time job is a simple and good way. For example, you work at a bakery 2 hours everyday, one month latter, you might earn enough money for your favorite cosplay costume! If you have no free time, I am afraid that you have to save money from your living expenses, I know it is awful!
My brother is very clever. He always can use some good chances to make my parents send him the cosplay stuffs he wants, during Halloween, Christmas, or his birthday. If you have some old cosplay things, and you think they are useless for you, you can sell them at a discount price.
